e have the perfect location for those who want to enjoy  a private quiet setting on the shores of  Lake Superior and view mother nature at her best. The cottage is available year round.

Our cottage is in the western end of  Upper Michigan  in the small town of Keweenaw Bay. We are located six miles north of Baraga and twenty miles from Houghton.
It is situated on two private acres with 435' of private beach.  We have easy access off   U.S. 41 yet  tucked in on a private road.

his newer cottage has 850 sq. ft. of modern, nicely decorated living area with an open design and lots of light. The cottage is exceptionally clean  with central air and heat.   It has a full bath, two bedrooms with queen beds and a queen air mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances,  microwave and utensils. All linens, towels and furnishing are provided.  A laundry facility, TV/DVD/VCR  with a large assortment of movies is also available. The deck is fully furnished with gas grill and patio furniture. Enjoy a campfire in the fire pit on the beach. Some small dogs allowed with prior approval.  A pet charge of 100.00 per week would apply.

here are many hiking and nature trails as well as several waterfalls,  beautiful scenic sites and state parks to visit.  If your visiting in the winter months, Baraga is very popular with snowmobilers and skiers for its many trails and abundance of snow. No need to trailer your machines to the snowmobile trails as we are located near the main trail and you can ride them right from the cottage. You will enjoy hundreds of miles of connecting trails though our pristine forests. For the last 10 years we have received an average of 200 inches of snow.   This heavy snowfall gives you, the rider, the very best conditions and trails. There are plenty of ski resorts in the area to keep even the most enthusiastic and adventurous skier busy! Whether your interests are in downhill or cross-country we offer a multitude of options.
